My informations on pricing, just to share that with you guys:

Virtools Dev 3.0 ... 8000 Euro (Single license)
Virtools Physics ... 5000 Euro (Single license)

License for Offline Media:

1000 Euro each (!!!) ... for up to 50 sold CDs/DVDs
50000 Euro .............. open license per product/game/simulation

The graphics and features of Virtools are really amazing.
But the pricing is some kind of galaxies away from Directors costs.
50 sold CD-Roms @ 1260 Euro each just for license and software costs?
Hey, that's weird.

As I don't produce Consumer-Games which sell in hundreds of thousands,
I think I won't be able to calculate any realistic prices for my clients,
when using Virtools. That's way to much for smaller projects.

I'm going to stick with Director for a while, until you guys show me the
way to a better solution at about half the cost of Virtools. :)
In addition to that, I like the fact, that I can integrate 3D inside
a Director-multimedia-application. Virtools is targetting a somewhat
different audience.
