I've not used/played with Virtools since it was an xtra for director (I
believe, might be getting mixed up with another tool) so can't give any
accurate information. However i was suitably impressed by that demo i
posted, so started to search the site for more information. Sadly this is
where for me Virtools slips up.

There is little sense of community, limited pricing information, and in
general it appears to be rather closed off. I'm sure if you went the effort
to contact them that you'd get some form of trial demo and better pricing
infromation, but to me that doesn't sound like a product actively
encouraging their community or new devs to join it. This is a shame, as had
there been a demo to try i would have downloaded it there and then, but as
it is i moved onto looking at something else.

Besides that i'm not to keen on the interface from what i've seen in
screenshots, and would much prefer to keep working within Director and
lingo.
