Emitting particles from object intersection. 2003-11-25 - By garyc

Hi, I have a little problem that I am trying to get a handle on, bascially I
need to set something up that will alow me to emit particles based on the
intersection of two objects. I would also like to know if its actually possible
to also emit along the intersection line. (i.e. a small ball flying into and
through a large box, as the ball passes into the box particles are emitted
first from a point then from a grawing and shrinking ring as the ball passes
through the surface ..... just curious if this is possible either with the
standard tools, with MEL or would I need to goto the SDK.

helped me out with tips and tricks over the last 6 months, my Maya work /
