Subject: Deactivating w3d 's 2004-03-25 - By Carl Lydon
Back What is the best way to deactivate and activate a w3d sprite such that it will only use up the CPU when it is needed? Jumping to another frame and back seems like it causes a delay for the sprite to reappear. I also tried setting the targetframerate=0 when the w3d was not needed, and back to a higher value when it was needed, but it doesn't seem to take effect. the w3d I am trying to deactivate is in a MIAW, and I am using the "tell" function.
thanks,
Carl
