SiS is a very popular motherboard, with a pretty bad onboard graphics
chip.  This might be part of the problem.  Do you have a reliance on a
certain level of DirectX ( for DirectDraw for a movie playback Xtra
perhaps? )  Although GL does suggest that OpenGL may be involved ( can't
see how though ).
