You have to get up close to the fountains, like right in front, and
click on the front top. You get a drink of water and a little more
time. Fire bells are hot as well.

The special effects budget was low. What do suggest for a success
transition?

No you should avoid them, if you touch them you will get warts.

You can toggle the camera shake with the "C" key but its pretty boring
when turned off.
