Just use it, as-is:


boxModel.shader.texture.scaleDown()

This will scale down the texture size. E.g. If your texture used to be
512 by 512 pixels, it will now be 256 by 256.

Reapplying the command will bring it down further, to 128 by 128 pixels.
Then to 64 by 64, 32 to 32, 16 by 16, 8 by 8, 4x4,2x2,1x1
