Accessing Old Movies 2004-03-04 - By Nik Lever

I am trying to access a really old Director Movie (Director 4.0 to be
precise) unfortunately I can load it, see the content but Director
MX/8.5 and 7.0 all bomb out saying it's too old and can't be updated. I
have the original Director 4.0 disk but not the serial number! I figured
with 4.0 I could do an import of the dir and then just see how the movie
was made and either reproduce it or maybe it'll copy across. Can anyone
share a 4.0 serial number or suggest, possibly a 3rd party tool, that
updates old dir's. A desparate man!
