MObject from 'objectId ' ? 2003-11-25 - By Andrew Cammarano
Back Objectid is an attribute used by the renderer to track objects, it has no counterpart in the api, nor a method to translate it to a dagpath that I know of. Unless something has changed in one of the recent releases, trying to derive the dagpath or MObject from the objectid is a dead end.
