(err, at least it's one single wish I have)

Hi folks,

hope this is the right place to post this, maybe it's worth a small
discussion, if not, then slap me with a trout or so...

To me it would be one of the greatest advances to Macromedia Director
(besides the 3D-part, of course), if it would fully support
collaborative working. When working on a large Director-project it
always is a total hassle - especially when the deadline is approaching -
to work within director with a team of two or more lingo coders.

Of course then everyone uses it's own cast, so normally it should
suffice for every coder to simply put his/her own code onto the server
and then grab the casts of the other folks.
But has anybody ever heard of a project developing as intended? Not
me... So it comes to confusions, one coder suddenly has to change code
in another cast, the other coder can't deal with it at that time, since
he/she's under pressure with his/her own changes and at the end of the
day (or night - look at the time of this mail) no one is sure which code
to synchronize these different code changes.

It's ALWAYS a hassle appearing just when absolutely not needed. So maybe
this could be an outlook into the future of Director?! (developers, are
you listening?)

Tired, with best regards,
Roman.
