i'm moving over from maya to xsi and i've been trying to find a xsi equivalent
to baking textures.  since i'm not familiar with the xsi terminology, i'm
finding it hard to search for what i want.  for those who don't know, maya
baking is when you can save out texture information with shadow, lighting, GI,
FG, etc then reapply these textures shutting off these rendered attributes
(shadow, lighting, GI, FG, etc respectively) so as to save in rendering time.

can anyone help me out on a equivalent workflow?  much appreciated if you can.
