variable input command?

Hi All,
I have written a script in VB, and to work, the user will need to be able to
input the name of an object, is there a way to make xsi open a window asking
for the name of the object,so he/she can just type in the name of the object,
and click ok.  instead of making the user directly adjust the script.
so basically, just want a variable to be dependant on the input of the user,
but without the user needing to open the script and do it.
cheers.
Mike Malinowski.
