Hello,
Is a monitor color depth of 16 bit  supported by all 3d video cards?

IOW: Is it ok to recommend all users of my projector to set their
monitors to 800 x 600 and 'thousands of colors' (16 bit) or could I
prevent some video cards from rendering by doing this?
