Dear list,
recently we'd posted a mail for a strange error we had in our actual
project (image tracking, 3D etc., computer/director crashing...) which
no one could help us with.
After over one week we finally found the problem here, and I thought
this might be some nice information for other teams when they face
crashes of their system:
It was the MS mouse driver! When we switched to a Logitech mouse and
installed the Logitech driver we stopped our system crashes completely.
I think esp. using 3D in director intervenes somehow with the mouse
driver which could lead to instabilities... remember the "evil
cursor"-thread recently here? Watch out for evil mouse drivers!
