These only happen when running the game from the cd rom. (When running from the cd I get about the same fps as when running from the desktop, though) Except for when encountering the particle system, none of the above events calls for an external file from the cd rom. (All content is in the internal casts of the projector.)
So I guess I am asking what would cause these problems only when playing from the cd rom? Is it the speed of the cd rom drive? (It says "8x4x32x max speed"). Is it just cause I am burning it myself in my g4 ...and a commercially replicated cd wouldn't have those issues?
