I have a couple of pairs of those. The glasses sync to the NTSC
signal. To use them you would need to generate an NTSC signal from
the computer, and have the left eye image on one field and the right
eye on the other field. One way for that to work in Director would be
to have a 3D scene that you set the left eye camera and get the
member image, then the right eye camera, get the image, and then
interleave those two to make up a bitmap that would sit on the full
screen stage, hopefully lining up with the NTSC resolution.

One big problem is getting the signal out of the computer, without
the computer trying to do any flicker reduction, because that would
ruin the image. You could use either a dedicate video out board, or
perhaps find some way to go out DV over Firewire.

You can find places that will give you red/blue glasses for free, but
I think that would be fairly unsuccessful.

If you just want them to see a rotating 3D model, there is a full
color, no synching needed, off of any monitor, perfect performance
way to do it. Let me know if that's the case.
