Has everyone went to the Macromedia site to see about all the changes to
Director MX 2004? There isn't one mention of the 3D side of things. Nothing.
As if the 3D developers don't even exist. I'm pissed off!! Director 8.5
comes out with the new 3D engine, and we are all very excited and happy,
then we wait I don't know how long for Director MX to come out....hoping for
some improvements.......which we get none of. Then we all sit around and
gripe for another year and a half talking about how excited we are about
some hopeful future improvements that might be put into MX 2004........to
which we will get nothing? So basically we are still stuck with the exact
same thing we were given in the 8.5 release.......and now have to wait for
even another release before maybe we get some improvements? Could they not
just do one major thing for us? Was it too much to ask for a fix to the Z
Buffer problem in the 3 years we have been waiting? Or anything? I'm so
pissed. Thanks Macromedia. Thanks for making it so I can buy Flash MX 2004
and now have the ability to incorporate it into the copy of Director MX
2004 that I will have to buy. Give me a break.
