Oops, made a little mistake in my script. Maybe somebody found that as well,
but I am on the digest form. In my script it said:

SourceModelNumOfFaces = DestinationModel.meshdeform.mesh[1].face.count
and must be:
SourceModelNumOfFaces = SourceModel.meshdeform.mesh[1].face.count

Still not working though. Somehow some entries in the original lTxtCoord are
not changed.
