Back I am having a some difficulties creating a nice gradual transition in my environment fog using the Blend Range attribute.
I am using normal (not physical) fog with Use Height ticked on. This is because I just want fog right under the ceiling of my building - and not on the floor. The transition from no fog to gog is to harsh so I tried changing Blend range. Unfortunately this has no effect whatsoever. Can anyone shed some light on how to use this? Or is this tool broken?
I also tried mapping a ramp to the Use layer attribute for the same purpose - with little success. Mapping a solid fractal to the layer attribute gives a predicatble effect, but using a ramp to control the graduation eludes me.
Any input greatly appreciated.
