XSI 4 and 3.5 side by side on Linux...?

XSI 4 and 3.5 side by side on Linux...?

Hi Peeps,

After having druled over all XSI 4 related postst and reviews my 4 is
finally underway, can't wait til it gets in :-)

Before I start installing 4 I was wondering if there's specific problems I
might run into when trying to run XSI 4 and XSI 3.5 side-by-side on my
Redhat 7.3 system. Any install directory issues, conflicts, etc. that
anyone is aware or specific issues to take into account...?

As an additional slightly OT for the programmers amongst you: I just had a
demo of Visual SlickEdit on Linux and I'm thinking of switching over to it
as my primary dev tool since it seems to be the most complete and
user-friendly multi-language/multi-platform IDE I've come across sofar,
not to mention it's quite affordable. Anyone with good or bad experiences
with SlickEdit willing to share them...?

TIA,

Erik
