Advice for in-scene measurements

Advice for in-scene measurements

Hola XSI users,

I'm looking for some advice on how I can easily measure distances in my
scene.  The "import Distance Rig" and "display-distance" rulers from
Netview are great!  However, I am looking for it to convert the Units to
real-world feet and inches.  ( 3.05 XSI Units == 1.0 feet )

I don't know the math to edit the expression and am looking for some
help.

I'm previsualizing a complex setup for an upcoming shoot.  So I'm
looking to have the rulers return real world measurements for display,
so I don't have to have everyone do the conversion math themselves.

Ideally I'd like to use the "Distance Rig" but have it do my conversions
for me to display feet and inches.

My entire previs scene is built to 1:1 scale.. using 1 XSI unit = 10 cm.

So now I just want to lay down some accurate UI rulers for display.  ( I
have A LOT of rulers to lay-in.. so I'd like to avoid doing it by hand
if possible.)

If someone could advise or help.. I would appreciate it.

(remember, I'm a caveman animator.. so if your going to explain
expressions. Be verbose.  Thanks! )
