render tree creating unpredictable results when connecting nodes

render tree creating unpredictable results when connecting nodes

Anyone ever encounter a bug in v4 when, through disconnecting and
connecting new nodes in the render tree, you get totally unpredictable
results in the render region?  For example, I have node1 plugged into my
material.  This equals result 1.  I then plug node2 into my material.  This
produces result2.  I then reconnect node1 only to get a totally different
result...sometimes a very odd looking, corrupt render.  This happens when
rendering and previewing as well....not just in the region.  Any
ideas?.....bug?
