Back Excellent work Dave!
It works very well in software mode as well. The characters use good use of skinning etc.
Just a few things to try...
If running on a machine in hardware mode, try adding a slight reflection map to the cubes ( bring the blend down from 50 to say 25, set the texture transform scale for the reflection layer to vector ( 0.3, 0.3, 1.0 or similar ), and see how it looks. You should be able to do this with 3DPI as a test.
Also, the 'set keys' didn't seem to allow the user to assign the actual arrow keys being pressed ( ie if numLock isn't on ), ie the 123, 124... etc keys.
I'm not sure about how other people play this type of game, I tend to use the direct up, left, right and down arrows, even though the mode is basically isometrical... it would be interesting to see how many people actually use an isometric key layout.
I really enjoyed playing it! Nice one! Mal
