Re-naming constraints? 2004-07-07 - By Jamie McDonnell - Rigging / Animation / www.jm3d.co.uk
Back Yup, that is how I was telling them apart, I didn't think it'd be so hard to implement!. I have them linked to a custom pset on the arm eff, with a DisplayInfo pset also on the arm eff, so I can blend between them on screen without diving into the explorer, works really nicely :)
Cheers for your help Bradley

Not yet. Chalk it up to another request in waiting. While it seems a simple request on the surface, it's actually a difficult one to implement.
For your particular situation, I almost always set my FK constraint first, then my IK constraint second. That way I know that the constraint with the [1] at the end of the name is linked to IK, and that's the one I want to control with the blend slider. I always add a custom parameter slider to control the blend. It takes literally 5 seconds to set one up using drag and drop. :-)
Hi all,
Anyone know if it is possible to rename constraints? I have an IK and FK pose constraint, and it would help to distinguish them apart...
Cheers guys and gals
Jamie
