I have Plasma 1.0 installed and had 3d max6 recently. The later is indeed overloaded with features. Plasma and max6 have the same exporters (afaik).

Better use Plasma for this.

Once I asked a question like this. See, a 3d application (like max6) can have tons of features. But so what? If you can't export it to the destination source, all this becomes useless.

I tried this, it's not a piece of cake of course, but give it a try. On average, it took me sth like half of the day to compile an animation of moving character with the duration of like 15 seconds.
