Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any thoughts on Plasma? I have the choice to
get 3D Studio Max 6 or the latest version of Plasma. Max is
three times more expensive but Plasma will export to Flash &
Director. I can't find if Discreet intend to make an exporter
from Max 5 or 6 to W3d. I don't want to get Max6 if I can't export
my work to Director as I have quite a few intereactive 3D projects
in the pipeline.
Is Plasma like Max 4 dressed up with the flash & director output,
could you achieve same visuals with the 3D as you could in just
Max 4 alone (I assume you can from the features).
One thing mising though seems to be Character Studio :( Does
anyone know how easy it is to make a skeleton of bones for a
character, skin it and animate it in Plasma???
