Yeah, I can zoom in, but there is no option to disable this feature?<br>

snapping options. if you want to go between 50 and a point. say 25% of a
segment and it keeps snapping to the point or the middle. then just zoom
your view in closer to the line. i believe the snapping tolerance/influence
is relative to the current view.

Of course as a workaround I can split the edge with the control option.
