Back Played around with it a little.
Locks don't seem to follow the methodology of XSI, which is a real shame since this introduces a small learning curve. In the explorer (not in the kinematics property page - another serious drawback) you can lock items based on your right click choice. If you want to lock all kinematics, right click on that, if you want to lock only ori, you have to navigate to that node and right click on that. Worse, if you want to lock marked params you have to navigate all the way down to anyone of them to right click on it. If you right click on any marked param and lick it all will lock. ... messy
Anyone at soft care to comment? If lock functionality were put in the animation menu as marking sets were, it would make a lot more sense. I wouldn't remove the functionality that is there now. Though I don't see a way to work on multiple objects, yet another shame.
*Workflow problem summery:*
* Locks don't seem to utilizing an obvious or useful workflow in regards to marked parameters * No way to work on multiple objects outside of the marked parameter workflow * No way to lock more then one channel at a time in the kinematics property page
Please correct me if I am wrong, These items would speed up working with locks significantly. Perhaps I am just missing some key trick. Anyone at Soft care to comment?

I just wish it would also be possible to password protect my locks, would make the animators a lot less dangerous :) Still beats constant expressions tho.

I hope I just missed this somewhere... is there a way to set locks on all marked parameters?
