Back Having a bit of a problem setting up volumic passes in scenes with particles.
Working on an underwater shot here, I have particles in the shot and need a godrays pass. I know they probably don't exist well together at the same time and space and figured I could set up passes for each.
Problem is no matter what I do, adding a volume effects pass crashes XSI instantly when trying to renderregion or rendering. I have tried hiding the cloud in a partition and even deleted the p-cloud - still it crashes.
I have yet to try and export my water surface as a model and reimport in to a clean scene and apply volumics there without the interference of any particles, but it sort of beats the idea of setting up passes.
Any ideas on how to solve this one?
Best Regards
