Use merge clips instead of freeze clip. Merge will assemble a new
fcurve with only the existing keys, while freeze will plot. However,
because merge clip probably doesn't support cycling, you should create
copies of the clips without the loop, and set them end to end before
merging.
The other solution is to edit the fcurve in the animation editor, and
use the cycling function there, then bake the cycle and make your
changes.
