Kris, I've had a similar problem - if I switch to the 'built in' Standard +
Shelves layout, and can't open up scenes over the network. Even if I switch
layouts first... I have to switch, exit xsi and restart. Otherwise - load -
boom, regardless of the scene.
Have you tried working completely local using that layout?
