Back unless they're being called from a compiled plugin... and the mindthink tools has a popup attached to them... the best way to find out what's going on is to open up the mindthink toolbar and run the script that is causing XSI to crash from there, that way you can see where the error is and you can fix it...

Aside from that thats a memory address clash of some kind.
Its really hard that a script can make one of those happen, since scripting alone, unlike coding, doesnt deal with memory explicitly and has no things such as pointers and passing any data by something referencing its address in memory. Also errors in scripts usually manage to come up with something more meaningful or at least tell you at what line the script goes belly up.
Did you try it on a simple scene and/or on another box?
If its working for everybody else then its your box with some problem, if its happening to everybody else then its very likely to be a loophole in the SDK being hit big time by the script.

Certainly, I can understand that, but the mentioned problems happen under XSI 3.5 @(protected)@!

argh.
Ehm,
even is this is kinda harsh,
I am not going to support 4.0 in the free versions of MindThinkTools.
It is not a matter of commercialism, but a lack of free time to fix all this
stuff.
sorry,
Helge
