I have just started using version 4.2 and worked on some hair modeling.
I did some work on hair made by curves.
However when I export the setup model (.emdl data) and import it back Is it just me or is it not possible to have a tail as part of a model?
When I create a tail from the Animate / Create / Skeleton / Create Tail

I 'm transferring work from our network to a laptop and back again (was
working remotely) and keep losing the textures in the scene. Have copied all
the images to the pictures folder andHi all.
Is there a way (scripting would be my first choise) to hide or disable a native menu or command?
In particular I need to disable all the saving commands.

I 've got some strange things happening with the screen capture option or any of the (other than MR) render engines. It looks like all of the engines are ignoring any of the camera settings It doesn 't seem to be affecting anything as far as I can tell. But I am just curious as it happens
when I launch XSI at my workstation and it happens when I run XSIBATCH on 3 other workstations.
'In the Technical Sheet the compatibility sections states their will e a plugin
to XSI....
check out the "Product page " there you can see which plugins that are
in progress. How come XSI is never present when people are making render

As always mental ray and motion blur has it 's problems at times. I
remember from the old Softimage 3D days the bug that appeard when you
had motion blur and transparency. Somehow that seHolger! you are a legend! that cloud shader looks beautiful.

There are few glitches in the capture in proportional modeling is there a command so that the proportional
modeling tool casts through the object ....so that is maintains simple
symmetry...so it is more like Lightwave 's single axis maghi all
Does anyone know how to make a texture map that has the same effect as the
burn function found in the particle menu for sprites.
Burn/additive but just so it has that effect when renderIs the dot product output of the "Vector_Math_Scalar " always within the -1 1
range?
