I 'm saving my nickels and dimes for a nice laptop and a new powerhouse for
my home station. Nice thing is I can retire my home equipment to the
business every I 've found out that it 's possible to group several objects and to be
able to edit/manage them in a seperate assembly room only displaying
it 's group members. That 's fantastic but it seems to haveYeah I know what you mean. I dropped by as soon as Dan posted to the
list and I couldn 't find him in there either.
Dan don 't you feel like the proverbial hamster in the wheel...you

couple of issues ago in the 3DXtract e-mag. She used it for the pin
cushion.
It should be in Carrara but (like vertex modelGoods pretty good so far. I saw that Lightwave was mentioned on your
site. Is that the program that you are using for this 1/2 animation
and 1/2 live action feature?

Awesome job nice animations! This is just the kind of thing I would
like to start doing in Carrara (I know "just do it! ".. corny but
true).
One quick comment - try slowing dowSome sticks a little bit of gas and a match make for a good smoke
out I meant fire. LOL. I think that Zmorph will be the best choice
you can try also using some clouds and play with the shapes.I think the problem is when you save them- you need to have the
Options box checked- the one that brings up the dialog which asks
whether you watn save textures internally externally etc- and oni have created a few scenes to use them in CS3 but when I add them
into the user scenes I can 't see the preview of them you know when
you open the scene wizard under user scenes I have them thereHey all
I am trying to save a carrara file as a 3ds file and retain the textures for someone else who wants to use this file in 3d studio. The file only saves some of the textures upon opening thOnly what I have already said. Wish I did know more.

To Carrara@(protected)Nice example. You have a good setup from the knee downwards. I think
that the hip-leg is a little too low. I think that maybe extending
that joint a little more upwards would fix the slight creasiJared
Sorry it took so long to jump in on this one.
I took a look at the file and I think I know what is going on. To explain it I have to give a little background on the way Glows worksI don 't really have much to add to Naomi 's wonderful insights. The
animation thing (cloth room animation) really threw me a couple of
times too until I also figured out what was going on.
NaOne of my initial projects when I first started in Carrara
Studio was to create a photo-realistic model of myself

modelling and remodelling IHey for any users of Cognito

I recommend GI rendering to you. I guess Anithing Glows Lights is not perfect.

Nice piece of mag as usual.
I just wonder if there could be a shorter way to get the issues.
It takes 8 (eight) successive steps to get it !

and I would recommend it to others.) Now I find myself reasonably capable of making
most shapes I desire aActually I should have called it Carrara 4 and beyond. I 'm sure they have already locked
down most of version 4 features and this list has more than one version upgrade can
probably hold.

the screen) and there is a link called "widowsweb.com "
It does not look like anything related to Carrara so I thought I

-----------Wow looking at the screenshots I 'd say there might 've been some
influence from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Looks like it 'll be interesting
once 's it 's finished.

Today we 're posting a couple of patches and updates grab them while
they are hot. The updates are free for existing DCG Grooves and Grows
customers and eovia Power Pack customers.
Can anyone else get into the website?

you should be able to uncheck that which you do not want to export
during the export process..
if for some gruesome reason you only wanted to export fingers and
toes this is easily accomplishsince we are talking about it i hope eovia reads this and might
consider this as an added option in cs4 to help people out when they
wanna print their render.
i think it wouod be nice.
peaceThanks Richard Harvey and Naomi for your responses.
