Poser 5 into Carrara 3? And along those lines how about getting poser

afaik .max is proprietary...there 's something called gmax i don 't
recall if i still have it loaded...it was featured on a periodical cd
last year[might be downloadable]... i 'm not sure if it wouBTW does anyone know of any freeware 3D converion software that can
convert MAX files into either 3DS or DXF (or any other Carrara
compatible files)? Unfortunately 3DWin convertor does not supportThanks Richard and Andrew for the Turbosquid suggestion and thank you
Richard for the tiny URL link.
Other than having to do a lot of customization work to a free model of
Boba Fet taht I foundI think you 're confusing the terminology a bit here. First do you realize that an image
rendered at 640x480 at 72ppi is the same exact thing as an image rendered at 640x480
at 300ppi? ppi only maI concur. Even if they didn 't create new features for the next
release but instead really solidified some of the quirky but
important ones I 'd buy the upgrade.
Here 's my $0.02-worth on the prI thinking yes to a point as long as those high polygon models do
not have animation on them. You cann 't import a bone-rigged model
into C3 nor can you save an animation sequence by itself. BecCan 't remember if I 've asked this or not so here goes again the
first time... p
Is it possible to create an animatic and then when ready replace the
blocky low poly objects with the final objHmm. . . I tried it and didn 't get anywhere but not a lack of
response just an empty object. Was this hand written? Any chance
your r 's look like z 's?

I ran across this formula (while cleaning out my desk) for a seashell.
scale 2
p 4*pi*v
t 4*pi*u
tt -3*pi+7*pi*u
z 1+tt/10
x r*cos(p) *cos(t)
y r*cos (p) *sin(t)
z r*sin(p)
When I realised that I could not copy paste reigged models between
scenes without hassle I gave up on that side of things. I HOPE that
with v4 I will be able to move a fully rigged model between sI did hear someone from the company (new CEO?) Say that it would be out by
years end. It also seems that fixing the animation is the main push for
this version I 'm sure there will be other goodiesHi Craig
That 's okay....as long as you don 't steal my lightning then you 're
fine. )
BTW I just wanted to let you know that the method that I used to put
the "Bayer " text on the puill *isWorks fine for me so far. I have done several still images using
custom built figures that I posed in Poser 4 with Propack and
imported to C3.

Is it possible to have Carrara render a black and white image?
I 'm not talking about the sketch style renders just a simple blAnother question.
I 'm not sure what the technical term is for it but I 'm sure we 've all seen those waves of
heat rolling of the ground on a scorching hot day. My question is how do I render thI have an idea for an image where I would like something to be reflected in a body of

I don 't know if it can really doI think it 's horrible.
It is basically stealing from us and Yahoo.
It is drawing people who have an interest in Carrara away from a

I meant to add in my lastHmm. I tend to at least attempt to model my own characters. I dont
get the same satisfaction from making images where somone else did
the hard work. I suppose some folks dont have the patience or With all the negative talk about Carrara and it 's pluggins it 's easy
to loose track of all the good things that were there when we brought
the product.
As for me I brought C for it 's illustra |
