I started out making the contours/ features etc in Corel Draw
using vector splines I filled them with solid colour and then copied

Try using Google toolbar...has a built-in "i " drop down button to translate
to English...as well as several other good features.

includes soft body dynamics cloth simulations force fields (don 't
know what this is yet) and a new transformation system.

disclaimer that tells your rights. Sometimes you can only use thme
royalty free for non-commercial projects.
