modifiers and point/edge/poly/object selectors) and added them to the
vertex modeler. This approach makes sense to me and I imagSorry corrected version (A 2400 was inadvertadly replaced by a 400)

final image should take up. Personally I think in
either pixels or inches (or cms) and noton one side we have carrara and on the other amapi.
What i don 't get is why does eovia bring in the toolset from amapi
to carrara to make it even better?
why would someone go out and buy both Attachements are not allowed. You 'll have to find someplace else to
post them and then post a link... maybe the files area if there is
space.

Thanks for your reply! I 've looked into Shader Ops and it sounds ideal - I 'll download
the demo and give it a shot.
But I 'm still kind of surprised that I can 't do this in Carrara. I acHi every body

Can I convert in inches?

well we 're also here too. In fact there 's been more talk about this
subject on this list in the last couple months than I can recall ever
being on the Renderosity forum.
Also I can 't recall Anyone else notice hidden lines showing in wireframe views?
Enabling "Draw Hidden " changes nothing for me. Running 3.0.3 and
tried with Software and Eovia Software.

Hi
I 'm a new Carrara user and I have a question which I hope can be
answered simply. I 'm modeling a room with tiled walls and I want to
be able to control the size of the tiles somewhat accuraRLA and RPF include depth buffer information otherwise they are
just images. So no real 3D in AE.
There is a photoshop import/export plugin available but last time i
tested it it crashed cI 'm new to carrara studio dabbling in v 2.0 awaiting UPS guy w/ upgrade to
3.3 now? heh.......
I 've been self studying in 3D now for 4 years so picking up carrara fairly
easily.
My search foI speak some Rhino (ver 2) and a little Amapi.
I use the WaveFront "obj " format for everything going out of Rhino
into Carrara.
The main reasons for this are quad support and UV Mapper
compaI ordered mine on Amazon almost a month ago but their price is
$34.97 with free shipping so I guess I 'll wait since that 's cheaper
than the publisher.
I wish they 'd hurry up and send it thouOn Tue 23 Dec 2003 12 27 33 -0000 you wrote

Cut from the Carrara forum over at Renderosity
"Accodring to Charles River Media (the publisher) the book is now
shipping. Amazon doesn 't have it yet but you can order it direct
from CRM -I just tried an NPR render using an isometric camera and got an "unknown error ". I
restarted C created a simple test scene and got the same thing. Is this a known bug?
I 'm using C 3.03 under MBonjour Carl
I understand your point of view. Deciding alone is the quickest way to decide.
It is an argumentable and reasonable choice than I don 't have to discuss. It is yours.

I would happily join my forces to a true open-source collaborative Carrara forum/gallery/mailing list system built around the current 3DXtract system or re-designed from scratch.
I i 'm gathering a little data about using rhino models in Carrara3...any
takers? i 'm curious if/what export options are used and if there are
any problems/remedies once inside carrara.
