Is it set to the correct shading domain in the parametric shader?

Is there a way to do an occlusion pass in Carrara 4? I looked in the
manual and the only reference to occlusion was an "occlusion test ".
Somehow I don 't think that 's what I 'm looking for.

I haven 't tested the mesh noise yet but tried the other one the Parametric Terrain Editor (PTE). Wonderful for simulating waves easy to manage in the Carrara 's Terrain Editor.
